Carole Hollowell received a BS in Interior Design in 1992 and immediately began honing her design skills as a store and showroom designer for a major residential furniture manufacturer. Her extensive travel throughout the United States gave her the opportunity to design casual, contemporary, and traditional spaces.

Carole Hollowell Interiors was formed in 1999 and has served clients with a wide range of projects. The business has twenty years of experience in high-end residential design and construction. She is also a seasoned veteran inside the furniture industry. Her tailored approach to each clients specific needs and her comprehensive design process deliver a seamless progression from concept to reality. She combines her design expertise, product knowledge, and access to exclusive trade accounts to create classic yet unique spaces. Carole lives in Raleigh with her husband and two daughters.

The Initial Visit: The first meeting between the client and Carole is an important first step toward reaching your design goals. During this time you will discuss scope, budget, priorities and preferences for your home. A one-time fee is charged for this visit.
Proposal: After Carole completes the initial assessment of your design project, she will present her preliminary ideas for your space as well as a proposal that is tailored for your specific needs. At this point you may continue the design process with a retainer and a letter of agreement.

Selections: During this phase selections will be presented and will be submitted for your approval. You will be required to provide a deposit before any items are purchased.

Installation: Carole will arrange and oversee installations and deliveries. The balance on all purchased items will be due as your furnishings are received. Lastly, your space will come together with Carole’s final touches and accessories that will further enhance the beauty of your home.

Hourly Consultation: This flexible service is perfect for those who need consultation on furniture placement, paint color, lighting, accessories selection, or artwork, or for an existing space needing further work.
